Archie Morris, III earned the Doctor of Public Administration (D.P.A.) and the Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) degrees from Nova/Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and holds the Master of Arts (M.A.) in urban studies and the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in sociology and economics from Howard University in Washington, D.C. He has taught at Bowie State University, Howard University, Southeastern University and National-Louis University, and was administrative director for the Northern Virginia Executive Master of Business Administration program for the New York Institute of Technology. He is a native Washingtonian, an alumnus from the “old Dunbar” days, and a volunteer with the Dunbar Alumni Federation (DAF). He has 30+ years of management experience working in the federal government, state/local government, the military, and the private sector.
